"Brilliant design", "Elegantly detailed","Superbly implemented"
This is how the judges at the International Exhibit Designer World Symposium,
held in Atlanta USA, described the 13,600 square feet stand Ken
Goodall created for Indigo at DRUPA '95. Indigo is a leading innovator in
printing, publishing and graphic arts, probably one of the world's largest
industries. DRUPA is the industry's premiere exhibition, held in Dusseldorf,
Germany every five years.
Ken's design for the Indigo stand for this year's DRUPA 2000 has again
been nominated for the top award.
The brief from Indigo for the 20,000 sq ft stand, was once again
for a stunning presentation of company products and corporate image to
surpass even the proven success of the '95 stand. A major feature to
be included was a 300 seat capacity presentation theatre, capable
of being used for 20 minute presentations 6 times per day.
From the first day of DRUPA's non-stop marathon 14 days run, the Indigo
stand was crowded with visitors, confirming that Goodall design had
fulfilled precisely the client's brief; the 300 seat theatre was fully booked
up to two days in advance!
At the end of the exhibition, Indigo had recorded their highest ever level of
sales contracts signed at a show; they had no hesitation in acclaiming
Goodall's interpretation of the design and construction brief, all within a
strictly defined budget, had been the foundation of the company's highly
successful DRUPA presence.
